Q + A

Is there a specific dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Please come dressed in garden party attire—think light, breathable fabrics and shoes comfortable enough for walking on grass and in the forest.

Can I wear heels?

I wouldn’t recommend wearing heels for the wedding ceremony, as we'll be in the forest and on grass. However, once we move to the Loft for the reception, heels will be just fine.

How do I get to the venue?

For those of you staying at the Podollan Inn, I'll be organizing cabs to come pick you up. I'll be in touch via text about that.

Are pets allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Unfortunately, as much as we love all the fur babies, pets will not be able to attend the ceremony or reception.

What if it rains or there’s wildfire smoke?

We have the option to move our wedding ceremony to the Loft (upstairs of Jeffery's Cafe Mill District), where the reception will be held. If this happens, I will be in contact with all guests.

What’s the best way to send a gift if I can’t attend?

We really don’t need any gifts, but if you’d like to contribute, we’ve set up a cash registry for our honeymoon in Iceland. You can find the link under the 'Knot Registry' heading on this website.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that all guests put their cameras and phones away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Before the ceremony, after it ends, and throughout the reception, you’re more than welcome to take photos. Once we receive our professional photos, I’ll be sure to share them with everyone by email.

Is there a designated wedding hashtag or social media guidelines?

Since the wedding is intimate and there are many people we weren't able to invite, we'd prefer if photos were not shared on social media. Thank you!
